Triangle solver

This page calculates all the sides and angles of a triangle if one of the following is known

i) the three sides or
ii) two sides and the included angle or
iii) a side and two angles or
iv) two sides and a non included angle
(Case iv hasn't always a solution or may have one or two possible solutions)

The calculation is implemented using the law of cosines and/or the law of sines

For any case above i , ii, iii fill the appropriate textboxes

Space characters in fields are removed.

The decimal point is denoted by .

Law of cosines:
a² = b² + c² − 2·b·c·cos(A)
b² = a² + c² − 2·a·c·cos(B)
c² = a² + b² − 2·a·b·cos(C)

Law of sines:
a/sin(A)=b/sin(B)=c/sin(C)
